Founded in 2018, we’re not new to human resources or Colorado. Our team of HR experts come from a variety of industries in our state and we’re backed by over 25 years of experience from our parent company, ProService Hawaii.

After successfully growing in that market, Obsidian HR was founded to offer the same quality of support to mainland employers. With the support of ProService, Obsidian HR is able to leverage in-depth HR industry knowledge but maintain the local expertise necessary to be successful in Colorado.

We’ve fulfilled a series of prerequisites from the federal government in order to be certified and accredited as a Colorado-based PEO (Professional Employment Organization) — not every PEO meets these requirements.
